The drain down, or removal of all water from within the pipe work of the caravan is often overlooked, or when done by someone with less experience, can result in a more costly end repair.
The water damage caused by a burst pipe or fitting can be immense, and often, insurance companies will not payout for damage caused by failing to, or incorrectly draining down your holiday home. There is no need to worry all winter about a potential water heater breakdown, or a pipe bursting -leaving the unattended water to soak your floor, causing a sponge effect, and ultimately, costly floor replacement.
Caraconnect offers a Winterization package that includes the drain down of your caravan on a scheduled date, then prior to your arrival the following season our engineers will be on site to perform the reconnection, if any problems arise due to frost, Caraconnect will put it right at no expense to you. Upon your arrival at your holiday home, you will only need to turn on the external stopcock, fill the kettle and enjoy your first cuppa of the season.
Please note this package does not include an inspection of levels of anti-freeze in your central heating system; however this can be ordered separately if desired.
